1. Use, Scope and Purpose of Personal Data Retention and Processing
Personal data is kept and processed for the purpose of maintaining contact with customers, sending marketing emails, sales promotion, and customer profiling with the aim of offering customers tailor-made content and products via emails and on websites. When emails are sent, it is recorded whether the emails have been viewed and whether the recipients have clicked through the links in the received messages. With the aim of offering customers better and more focused offers and customising further emails, the recorded data is automatically processed, analysed, profiled and customers’ interest in receiving the sent messages is evaluated. No automated decision-making is performed based on the recorded data and the created profiles.
The following data is kept for the purpose of email communication:

- first name,
- surname.
Personal data is collected with the individuals’ explicit consent. Consent forms are kept together with their content and the content of the form by means of which they were obtained.
The collected personal data is used by the following company departments:

The collected personal data is stored in the territory of the Republic of Slovenia and is in no case exported to other countries.
3. Retention Period
Individuals’ collected personal data is retained until the consent for the retention and processing of individuals’ data has been revoked. After an individual’s consent withdrawal, his/her personal data will be immediately permanently erased.
If the aforementioned purpose of personal data retention and processing in our company should no longer exist, the data collections whose purpose no longer exists will be immediately permanently erased.
The data about whether emails have been viewed and the click-through data is kept for 12 months after emails have been sent.
4. How Is the Collected Personal Data Protected
Only the content and information is provided, whereas credit card numbers or any other data that might be misused by cyber criminals is never required.

The collected personal data is used solely for the purposes stated above, and is not marketed or forwarded to third parties, with the exception of partners who help us maintain the company website and are obligated to protect personal data under the same conditions as GS-CarboTech, d.o.o.

- the data processing and retention to stop, i.e. an individual can revoke the data processing and retention consent, without prejudice to the legality of the processing which was carried out based on the consent before the consent has been revoked.

In the event that our company would like to further process personal data for a purpose other than the purpose for which the personal data has been collected, individuals will be provided with information about this other purpose and any further relevant information, such as those given in this document, before any such further data processing takes place.
